See Removing the OSD in the documentation for how this is done. How will the dashboard remove the OSD from the ceph.conf
file?

The purge functionality seems to replace the `remove` functionality in newer Ceph versions. It might make sense to remove `remove` when implementing `purge`.

If `ceph.conf` is supposed to be adapted automatically on purge of an OSD, I don't think the dashboard (as mgr module) can do that by itself. The orchestration layer might offer something useful. I'd add that functionality in a second step (follow-up issue) if it's not yet possible using the orchestrator.
