Description

We've had one or two previous reports that ceph-fuse is reading slowly and that readahead may not be working, but we didn't get enough details to take them seriously.
Recently, I had an irc conversation in which the user was able to demonstrate that all the OSD read operations ceph-fuse was sending out were sized at 128KB, despite attempting to do streaming reads. I suspect a bug in the readahead code of Client.cc.
