Description
In Hammer, the ceph init script unconditionally sources the /lib/lsb/init-functions
file. This is a problem because the RPM packaging no longer requires the redhat-lsb-core package that contains this file (see #13374). In general, we want to avoid dependencies on redhat-lsb-core.
In master, the init script was updated to skip the init-functions
file if it does not exist (https://github.com/ceph/ceph/commit/bb1fa7f3993dfcd1243b2a9a0bb432c269df215f). This change was made as part of a different issue (the OS X port, https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/5460).
We need to cherry-pick that commit (bb1fa7f3993dfcd1243b2a9a0bb432c269df215f) to the hammer branch.
