Description
AFAICT http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/user-management/ doesn't explain:
- for an OSD, 'class-read class write' is the same as 'x'
- syntax for multiple permissions is "spaces separate the elements of a clause, commas separate clauses" (so "osd allow r pool=a, allow rwx pool b")
- separators for pool= and namespace= can be '=' or ' '
There are probably other missing details, but those are the ones that affect my current task

joshd notes that the ceph-authtool manpage has more explanation; maybe at least a "see also", but perhaps some of the text could be lifted from there in addition

Not sure why this got made a FS ticket, but fortunately I wrote the docs for cephfs client auth caps a while ago so this is at least covered somewhere http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/cephfs/client-auth/
