Feature #12343
open
It seems like ceph.com got IPv6 support removed (it was added before in BUG #9712)
Also, download.ceph.com should support IPv6 too, so it's possible to roll out ceph in an IPv6-only environment.
This keeps happening. IPv6 is added, removed, added, removed.
I will ping some people :)

Our previous cloud hosting provider had IPv6 addresses assigned to download, tracker, www, and docs. I just hadn't added the records to DNS until asked. (Truthfully, I didn't realize they were missing)
When we started having issues with that cloud provider, we moved all these services to a different cloud hosting provider. At the time, they didn't have IPv6 enabled for the region but recently enabled it.
I had them assign some IPv6 addresses yesterday and just added the AAAA records to DNS so they should propagate out shortly.
git.ceph.com, however, is not hosted in the public cloud we're using for the other sites. git.ceph.com is currently hosted in the Sepia lab and we don't have IPv6 connectivity there yet but it's coming soon.
