Update Fedora to 0.80.5 packages with ceph-common
Added by Neil Levine almost 10 years ago.
Updated over 9 years ago.
Description
In order to push the Ceph client packages up into RHEL 7.1, we need to have the latest packages available in Fedora as the upstream ASAP.
The packages should include ceph-common and have the same structure in general as what is provided on ceph.com (ie. librados2, librbd1 etc rather than ceph-lib as been in Fedora historically).
- Target version set to sprint11
The ceph-common split is now in the latest firefly. There are a few other cleanups (reducing dependencies) pending in the firefly branch; they'll be in 0.80.5, probably monday
- Target version changed from sprint11 to sprint12
- Subject changed from Update Fedora to 0.80.4 packages with ceph-common to Update Fedora to 0.80.5 packages with ceph-common
So, there's a PR open for some restructuring of the .spec file now that we need to get in soon to make this more sane in Fedora, and I have a pile of bugzilla bugs that will be affected. Sandon, please coordinate with me before anything happens here so we don't end up in more obsoleting hell.
- Assignee changed from Sandon Van Ness to Boris Ranto
- Status changed from 12 to In Progress
- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
- % Done changed from 0 to 100
The updated packages with spec file synced up with the upstream spec file were pushed to epel 7, fedora 22, fedora 21, fedora 20 (currently being to pushed to stable repos), fedora 19 (in testing), epel 6 (in testing).
