Description
RHEL doesn't want to include crypto++ because it is not FIPS 140-2 certified (although they got a kick of out a DOE lab asking for it :). (openssl is, NSS is, but notably gnutls is not.) Fedora is trying to standardize on NSS for this reason. Hopefully it includes the low-level APIs we need...

I think it has what we need (mainly sha1, md5). The pkl11test.c from
the source package can be a good starting point.
