Description

When someone want to access ceph documentation, either by (google) search or ceph.com, they eventually going to land at https://docs.ceph.com/en/pacific/

However it seems to be a documentation of octopus, or some mixture of it, like you see v15.2.8 Octopus as the lastest stable release.

When someone by sheer luck manages to find https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/ (which is not a simple adventure, as it doesn't seem to be linked from anywhere), there is a version picker at the bottom and it seems that the latest stable is Pacific 16.2.7. This one seems to be the real one.

I do not follow mailing lists and release announcements so I really cannot tell whehter pacific just "looks like a stable" (by versioning) or it's faking it. (Adding insult to injury cephadm "pacific" also want to install octopus but as I have realised it also referenced the octopus one, I mean the first collection.)

Anyway, there should be some way to tell what is the latest stable, and how to reach its docs.
