Description

Making AJAX requests will result in an OPTIONS call to the server (RGW), which is currently unsupported. As such, POST through the browser will not work.

That's actually CORS, which already went into cuttlefish.

I'd rather not to do a backport. Do we have a bobtail customer asking for this who can't/won't upgrade to Cuttlefish?

They are waiting a bit before the upgrade, however they recently reported back that they put together some custom rules on their load balancer which resolved their need for this support at the moment.
