Actually, no. That documentation is for the userspace clients (there is a "librados" thing in the kernel, but it's very different from userspace) and the CephFS client libraries predate the existence of librados. They share a common core but are otherwise distinct. We may fix that some day, but the documentation is correct as it stands.
