Oh man, I wish I'd come across this tracker 5 years ago, when I inherited a misguided addition of -n size=65536 to mkfs.xfs

There is (now) a (brief) bit about this within https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/rados/configuration/osd-config-ref/ , is that sufficient?

Since Luminous Filestore has been discouraged in favor of BlueStore, I think @zdover23 that we can consider the above entry sufficient and thus close this ticket, especially since it pertains only to OSD creation and the options can't be applied retroactively. (Which, see above, I know all. too. well)
