Description
In the configuration guide for RHCS 3 is still mentioned osd_op_threads, which is not already part of RHCS 3 code.
Aslo the new parameter that replaced the osd_op_threads in RHCS 3, shown below, are not documented:- ceph --show-config | grep osd_op_num
osd_op_num_shards = 0
osd_op_num_shards_hdd = 5
osd_op_num_shards_ssd = 8
osd_op_num_threads_per_shard = 0
osd_op_num_threads_per_shard_hdd = 1
osd_op_num_threads_per_shard_ssd = 2
[root@mons-0 ~]# ceph --show-config | grep osd_op_threads
[root@mons-0 ~]# ceph version
ceph version 12.2.1-43.el7cp (6b05e2708256ba83778bfb9443c6013a49ca03a7) luminous (stable)

For downstream Red Hat products, you should use the Red Hat bugzilla to report bugs. This is the upstream bug tracker.
Also, for Luminous documentation you should replace "master" with "luminous" in the following URL you posted: http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rados/configuration/osd-config-ref/

@zdover23 given Nathan's observation that upstream != RHCS, that some of the new options are in that document now, and that 3 years have past, I think we might close this as moot?
