h3. Announce end of life
* Send a mail to ceph-devel announcing the release is no longer supported
h3. Cleanup leftovers
* Remove the release from https://github.com/ceph/ceph/milestones
* Close pull requests targeting the release at https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pulls
* Look for open issues targeting the release in http://tracker.ceph.com and unset the release
* Delete the release-backports branch
* Close http://tracker.ceph.com/rb/release/???/edit (where ??? is the number associated with the release)
* Remove the release name from all issues as listed by the "Backports: release" custom query ( for instance http://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph/issues?query_id=68 )
* Remove the release custom query
