I have the same problem (kind of) as described in the mailing list.
But it's not stopped by the cache, AFAICT, the cache just hides it better but it still happens for the very first time after restarting the process.
So to reproduce with cache you can just:
- create bucket
- restart radosgw
- re-issue the create bucket
You can also reproduce it if you send several 'create bucket' commands (for a new bucket, not recreate) in parallel to the server.
