for EC pools we create crush rule using a erasure-code-profile and this profile creation is done by certain plugins https://docs.ceph.com/en/reef/rados/operations/erasure-code-profile/#erasure-code-profiles
And they don't provide an API option for the subfailure domain to set.
Ceph has this lack of option, Unfortunately we cannot add this spec parameter to rook,
