Description
admin_socket consumers must be root today (because the daemons run as root and create the socket without manipulating umask, so end up with mode 755 sockets). There should probably at least be a ceph group installed, and maybe a ceph user for the daemons, but at least with the ceph group, the admin socket could be made 775/group ceph and avoid having to have collection daemons, etc. running as root.
