Description

The clara systems have a NIC with 2 ports. At present, the link is up on the first port.

Would it be possible to enable network connectivity on the second port of the below clara systems?

clara003
clara004
clara006
clara007
clara010
clara011
clara012
clara014
clara015

We are looking to some system test scenarios that require two networks.

Hey Pragadeeswaran I will check if that's possible but which test scenarios you would want to test? If it's bonding it will also require additional configurations on the switch side and this is also something we will need to check if that's possible

Thanks Adam,

Some of the configurations we plan to evaluate are

- having a separate network for OSD
- using a separate network for iSCSI gw

As the systems have 1G cards, we are not planning to test configurations with bond. I am yet to identify systems having a higher speed.

Hi Adam,

Is it a possibility to have the server connected to a second network via port 2?

Thank you,
Pragadee

Thanks Adam,

I am able to see the link is up.

Regarding the network setting for this network, is there anything specific that you would like me to use? If yes, could you let me know? Or would you like me to raise a different tracker for it.

In this network (new), I would like to have a set of static IP addresses that I could use for configuring iSCSI initiators.

Sorry for asking too many questions.

Thank you,
Pragadee
