Description

There are bits and pieces of the new request code
documented for the kernel rbd client--in the comments
and in the commit logs. But I'd like to put together
an informal design document that describes how it all
work.

And I guess I'd like to do it soon, while it's all
fairly fresh. (I can also be sure things that
reviewers find difficult or confusing are covered.)

I expect I'd store the result under the Linux Documentation
subdirectory.

  • Priority changed from Normal to Low

It's no longer fresh, and perhaps it's no more (or less)
worthy of documenting than any other piece of code we
have.

I'm making this low priority. I'd be happy to just
reject it but I'll wait for someone else to suggest
that's the right thing to do.

  • Status changed from New to Rejected

Almost a month and nobody seems to care that I think
this should just go away.

It's going away.
