I believe the ability to rename CephFS snapshots can come in handy in many cases. For example, if one wants to implement a rotating backup-scheme by having a script create a series of snapshots, like "daily.<1-7>", the script will need to rotate the existing directory-names when it's run every day. Implementing rename seems straightforward. Nothing changes except the name by which the snapshot is referenced. I'm running version 0.55.1, which doesn't seem to have the feature, neither does it seem to be requested here already.
