Description

I forgot to start the ceph service before issuing ceph -s to check its status. The tool happily
waited forever to connect with no dialog.

There should probably be a timeout with a message like "Can't connect to Ceph monitor daemon; is it
running?" or maybe even "Ceph monitor daemon appears not to be running at all; check service status"
or something like it.
