Description

The Linux kernel has a generic set of routines to support
extended attributes. When I posted some recent changes
to the ceph xattr code Christoph Hellwig asked why I was
not just switching over to that, and I said I would put
that on my radar for doing "soon."

Now, it is formally on the radar.

No progress on this. It should be put on our roadmap as a task
to complete, maybe within the next 6 months.
