Description
Xiaofei Du reported on the mailing list that running an "ls" on a directory with multiple writers takes a while (much longer than one second). This probably means that the clients aren't dropping their write caps without flushing all data — or perhaps that the MDS is asking them to revoke their buffer caps too. Determine if that's the case and why.
