Documentation #16258
openceph audit logs are not logging to ceph.audit.log if we specify "mon cluster log file" option
0%
Description
In ceph.conf if we specify option "mon cluster log file" both audit and cluster logs are going into the same file ceph.log(no ceph.audit.log file created), if i don't specify this option two separate logs for cluster logging and audit logging (ceph.log and ceph.audit.log) are created.

actually it is documentation defect, it should be stated clearly under this section http://docs.ceph.com/docs/jewel/rados/troubleshooting/log-and-debug/#logging-settings
if we specify this way it works mon cluster log file = default=/var/audit/ceph/$cluster.$channel.log cluster=/var/log/ceph/$cluster.log
