The debug options for ms, osd, etc. could afford to be listed in the sample.ceph.conf file, even commented out. There is one debug statement for ms presently. The wiki does not appear to list possible debug statements, so should be updated to reflect the sample.ceph.conf file when this is finished.

We should still add a wiki page with debugging information. I can include info about debug options, and also other steps people should take when reporting bugs on teh list etc.

Looks quite useful, thank you. There are also some logging directories available, e.g. logger sym. May those be added as well?
