json spirt is currently part of the code tree of ceph, but it's external code. There was also no update within a long time.
This code should be part of a new separate repo to be updated easily and should be pulled via git submodules.
Please open a new git repository called json_sprit so that I can start moving the code to this repo and updating the ceph code tree.

Any news on this request?
The original code is from http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/20027/JSON-Spirit-A-C-JSON-Parser-Generator-Implemented if I'm correct. Could not find an official git or SVN. Therefore we need to make a copy of the code.
