Can't abort multipart uploads created with Emperor

Description

We have buckets containing abandoned multipart uploads created with rgw 0.72.2. After upgrading to rgw 0.80.1, these uploads still appear in the List Multipart Uploads response, but the following operations fail with 404 errors:

  • List Parts
  • Complete Multipart Upload
  • Abort Multipart Upload

As a result, any uploads left over from Emperor cannot be deleted to reclaim space. This behavior is not documented in the release notes, which only say that an old rgw cannot complete a multipart upload initiated by a new one.
