it needs ceph cluster running?
or it must run on osd?or mds? or mon?

because my ceph error,i run testrados ,but it stop at rados_write function,
i do not know why!

This isn't really a bug, you should send questions like this to the list.
Anyway, it's just a silly little program that runs a few ops and returns the results. It's really more a smoke test for interface changes/additions than anything else, and yes, it requires a functioning cluster.

my cluster'osd lose many data,log says 10000000xxxxx.xxxxxxx/head is not found?
#rados p data ls
has nothing output!!!hang there...
do you know why?
