Description
When an OSD is down, the IO line/area chart should either be flat or made explicit that it contains stale data (frozen, grayed out, ...).
Ideas for detecting when data is no longer valid:
- This data comes from a short time-series that ceph-mgr provides. One possibility is to explore if the ceph-mgr provides timestamp for each datapoint.
- Alternatively, if OSD status is down/etc., consider the current data as stale.
- offseting/sliding the valid data out of the chart window, and replace it with 'empty data' (gray points? no points?) as time goes by.
- Turn the whole chart grayed out/blinking/etc.
