Right now it doesn't. If it had, then diagnosing Noah's local reads problem would have been much, much faster. :(

we should also include a read-from-replicas workload in the qa suite.. probably combined with osd thrashing. that may need a separate issue.

Sage merged a modified form of this in commit: 172dd3e0e40ead65349904e604962eb0724bc230.
