I've disabled the unitttet in os/Makefile-server.am for now. Please reenable with the fix.

Update so far:
Not able to hit in > 20 runs of make check and > 50 runs of standalone unit test case.
Moving to code review for any stale memory access or race condition , will also try running on low end machines.
