Description
Add a chapter on backports and stable releases
- Development releases and stable releases
- Named branches (argonaut, bobtail, etc.)
- Newest named branch is the next major release
- Features to master, bugfixes to newest named branch
- Every other named branch is a "Long Term Stable" release
- How releases are retired - link to Release Timeline http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/releases/
- Fixing bugs in stable releases
- Backporting workflow

This bug has been judged too old to fix. This is because either it is either 1) raised against a version of Ceph prior to Luminous, or 2) just really old, and untouched for so long that it is unlikely nowadays to represent a live documentation concern.
