Ceph Governance has been a long time coming, but it is finally ready to move forward. The idea here is to provide explicit independent management of the Ceph project and brand. In order to ensure transparency and an equal playing field we would ask prominent members of our community to take an active role in driving the overall governance and health of the project. Below is a proposed structure for Governance to be discussed at CDS. Suggestions will be incorporated and ratified by Red Hat for a final version to be published in the weeks to come.
