Cleanup leftovers * Remove the release from https://github.com/ceph/ceph/milestones * Close pull requests targeting the release at https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pulls * Look for open issues targeting the release in http://tracker.ceph.com and unset the release * Delete the release-backports branch * Close http://tracker.ceph.com/rb/release/???/edit (where ??? is the number associated with the release as found at http://tracker.ceph.com/rb/releases/ceph) if it exists * Remove the release name from all issues as listed by the *Backports: release (pending)* custom query ( for instance http://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph/issues?query_id=75 ) * Make the release custom queries (*Backport: release (pending)* and *Backport: release*) non public but keep them for the record * Update http://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph-releases/wiki/HOWTO to remove the release links * Update http://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph-releases/settings to remove the release link * Check [[HOWTO monitor the automated tests AKA nightlies]] and ** verify no tests / upgrades are scheduled for the release ** upgrades involving the release branch are scheduled for the latest tag (v0.87.2 for instance) instead of the tip of the release branch (giant for instance)
