The client currently has 3 perfcounters: average latency of replies, of processing a request, and of a file write. I'd like There are no perfcounters in the Client. In particular this feature is prompted by my desire to see data on requests outstanding to the MDS, but simply browsing through the source will turn up a bunch of I'm sure there are other candidates (internal cache sizes, etc). things we can include.
