The downgraded version breaks .ssh/configs that have priv key paths with tildes in :-(

Is the paramiko PR something you think broke SFTP or something that might fix it?

I think it is part of the problem, but I haven't invested enough time to be sure. Overall I've put large amounts of time into trying to use a newer paramiko version with teuthology, and each time, jobs start hanging all over the place.

I was told not to spend too much time on it for now. If you want to take a look you're more than welcome :)
