Description

Right now all syslog messages get their process name as their identity in syslog, for example:

Feb 1 21:13:13 noisy cosd: 2011-02-01 21:13:13.780145 7fdd9319a700 osd2 2148 heartbeat: osd_stat(666 GB used, 1193 GB avail, 1863 GB total, peers [0,1,3]/[0,1,3])

This machine is running 4 OSD's, right now I don't know which line is from which identity.

It would be useful to be able to set a syslog identity for each process or have some kind of unique identifier for each line to syslog.

Setting a facility would have the same benefit, this way you can easily filter out messages which should go to a remote box.
