It's maybe a bit less broad than it sounds (in my mind at least) -- I'm concentrating on the in-rados representations of things. Lots of stuff already has encode/decode methods and maybe just needs a dump() to be more convenient for debug.

We've already merged in the MDSTable and Journaler header dumping stuff; I think that's all the stuff that you were thinking of when creating this ticket. We should close it unless there's a more concrete target in mind.

related, on journal-tool branch have got to a point where dencoder can handle getting the inodes out of .inode objects and dentry blobs -- I think this is done once that lands.
