Description

In reference to: https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/843

Some extra bits of information would be useful in the OSD metadata structure:
  • The /dev/... paths to storage devices (data+journal)
  • The public and backend network interface names (i.e. public_addr and cluster_addr resolved to eth* names)
  • The FQDN in addition to the short hostname
