Description

Documentation at http://ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/authentication/ refers to both "mds 'allow'" and "mds 'allow *'".

This has caused me to use "mds 'allow'" in my authentication and I was told this should not be supposed to work but it does seem to work.

I opened https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/844 to fix the typo in the documentation.
