Description

I've gone through a few people asking why the feature to alter the filesystem type from ceph-deploy doesn't work, they refer to this portion of the docs: http://ceph.com/docs/master/rados/deployment/ceph-deploy-osd/#add-remove-osds

Specifically the section below:

By default, ceph-deploy will create an OSD with the XFS filesystem. You may override the filesystem type by providing a --fs-type FS_TYPE argument, where FS_TYPE is an alternate filesystem such as ext4 or btrfs.

The problem is that ceph-deploy does not have this flag, it is really cephfs that has it and there is no intention to add filesystem options to ceph-deploy as ceph-deploy is just using a default one (which is good for users who want to get started).
