No reason we couldn't use a spot on download.ceph.com outside of the server root (/data/download.ceph.com/www). Or if web access for verification etc. is still useful, just a subdir there (staging/, maybe)

Created a staging area on download.ceph.com with HTTP basic auth (in the https:// site only). That should allow us to sync-push there and test, and then when it looks right, we can mv the directory up to the parent atomically.
