Description

yet another new user was confused about needing a non-127/8 address for the hostname today.

http://ceph.com/docs/master/start/quick-start-preflight/#hostname-resolution mentions the
issue, albeit somewhat confusingly ("The ceph-deploy tool will not resolve to localhost. Use the hostname." I think actually means to say something like "Ceph requires host-to-IP mappings to
use non-127-net addresses; make sure your name mapping databases can find a non-127
address for the hostname"), and incorrectly (limiting to IPv4 addresses is not required).

But this section is not in the path at http://ceph.com/docs/master/rados/deployment/, and needs
to be.

This is also missing from the new pre-flight checklist: http://ceph.com/docs/master/start/quick-start-preflight/

The older version (http://ceph.com/docs/dumpling/start/quick-start-preflight/#hostname-resolution) had some guidance, but it could be more explicit about needing to have resolvable short hostnames.

http://ceph.com/docs/master/start/quick-ceph-deploy/#create-a-cluster has a note about it in step 6, but it needs to be noted before any of the monitors or osds are created.
