$ ceph tell mds.* help ... session ls [--cap-dump] Enumerate connected CephFS clients session ls [--cap-dump] [<filters>...] List client sessions based on a filter
The filters argument cannot be given because the first one overrides the second.
A workaround is to use "client ls"
The version without "filters" needs removed and tests written to ensure it works.
