Description

This prevents it from being used with "profile rbd-read-only" OSD cap (which would be compatible only with --io-type read, of course).

Hrm, the same goes for rbd-nbd with --read-only option -- it also opens the image in read-write mode unconditionally. Opening in read-only mode would lose the watch though and therefore the ability to detect image resizes.

May need to expand the scope here...
