Description

https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/54576 tracks that proxy as a cache mode was erroneously removed as a cache_mode from the `ceph osd tier cache-mode` command and was fixed with https://github.com/ceph/ceph/commit/77ad5a810c7e21d7e12947a07a5ba9b079dd1081. That issue also states that the fix was backported to 17.0.1. On 17.2.5 this still appears to be an issue.

Fixed the Backports field in the https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/54576 and moved it back to the Pending Backport state.
