Description
The MON lookup using DNS SRV records documentation at https://docs.ceph.com/en/quincy/rados/configuration/mon-lookup-dns/ is not clear on how it should be used for Messenger v2. The document mentions only v1 port 6789 in the example SRV records and has no discussion on Messenger v1/v2: if Messenger v2 is used, should the v2 port 3300 be used?
It looks as if this document was created when there was no v2 and was never revised after that.
I will try to ask around if I get an answer for how this works and make a PR for it - unless feedback here is that it is fine as is. IMHO it should be updated to include v2.
