Description

ceph fs rm_data_pool <fs> <pool>
ceph fs rm <fs> --yes-i-really-mean-it

does't cause the pool to be dissociated with the fs
i.e. the application_metadata continues to hold a reference to the removed pool

This behavior keeps the pool locked up forever.
  • Trying to add the pool back to the same fs leads to "already added"
  • Trying to add the pool to different fs leads to "already in use"
