Description

There is no point in indefinitely waiting when pg of an object is inactive. It is appropriate to cancel the op in such scenarios. Also, this tunable should be configurable from the ceph.conf to enable or disable this feature.

There is no point in indefinitely waiting when pg of an object is inactive.

This is not correct for CephFS or RBD. In an outage we need client OPs to block forever otherwise all clients will get IO errors and corruptions etc...
