Description

Not sure if this has been discussed anywhere (I cannot find relevant trackers regarding this).

The MDS does not fragment directory snapshots. The fragmentation limit (governed by `mds_bal_split_size' config option) only applies to non-snapshotted directories. Looks like if the omap entries only consist of snapshotted files, the MDS will maintain a single directory inode object (<inode>.00000000) thereby ignoring `mds_bal_split_size'.
