Description

Hi all,
I found a stale session in MDS.
$ceph -w
\ health HEALTH_OK
..................
..................
mds.0 [INF] closing stale session client.5076 192.168.3.112:0/1764484284 after 304.175240

and the log seems that the mds is stucked in closing stale session.
the health of Ceph cluster is ok, but cephFS hangs when access via the mount point.
CephFS seems unstable?

any ideas to solve this problem?

Status changed from New to Can't reproduce

this is caused when teh client is not talknig to the mds. can you verify the network is working, and ceph-fuse is healthy?

Hi, i mount the cephfs by mount -t ceph... instead of ceph-fuse, and the network is working (u mean network can reachable?). No errors in ceph's log.
BTW, sometimes, i use the cephfs to store VMs(maybe very large size), in mount point, i typed command "ls", and it seems stuck by accessing the dir, but ceph is still healthy.
How to do troubleshooting in this situation?
